Who We Are

More than a nursery — a second home

We started Little Raye's because we wanted to provide exciting, innovative care in an environment where children feel truly at home — with all the opportunities to play, interact, and develop that every child deserves.

As a small, family-run business, our passion, enthusiasm, and commitment to the children is at the heart of everything we do. We operate four nurseries across South London, each sharing the same warm ethos and high standards.

Our Framework

EYFS-aligned and parent-connected

Everything we do is guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework — the statutory curriculum for all early years providers in England. We weave it into every activity, routine, and interaction across our nurseries.

Each child is assigned a dedicated Key Worker who tracks their individual progress, nurtures their specific interests, and provides parents with regular updates and term reports through our parent app.

EYFS FrameworkWe plan activities around the seven areas of EYFS learning — from communication and language to physical development.

Monthly ThemesEach month follows a theme planned around children's specific needs and interests, fully aligned with EYFS goals.

Dedicated Key WorkersEach child's Key Worker tracks their progress, provides daily feedback, and builds a meaningful relationship with the family.

Parent AppFamilies can track sleep schedules, meals, activities, development milestones, invoices, and term reports — all in one place.

Ofsted RegisteredWe are proud to be Ofsted registered, so parents can have full confidence in our independently verified standards.

Government FundingWe accept 15 and 30 hour government funded places for eligible children from 9 months of age onwards.

Our premises offer bright, spacious rooms with fantastic outdoor areas. We believe outdoor time is essential for healthy development.

Safe Outdoor Equipment: Age-appropriate play equipment in a secure, supervised outdoor environment.
Nature-Based Activities: Sensory exploration and nature discovery that nurtures curiosity and a love of the world.
All-Weather Sessions: We embrace outdoor learning year-round with appropriate clothing and preparation.

Nutrition & Wellbeing

We provide freshly prepared meals and snacks throughout the day, ensuring children receive balanced nutrition to support their growth.

Balanced Menus: Nutritious, freshly prepared meals and snacks served daily across all our nurseries.
Dietary Requirements: We accommodate all dietary needs, allergies, and cultural or religious preferences.
Social Meal Times: Eating together is a key social learning opportunity — we encourage independence and conversation.
